Parafilm Flower Stem Wrap

Parafilm Florist Stem Wrap

Parafilm is a stretchy, waterproof, self adhesive tape that is used to cover wires and stems in floral arrangements and bouquets. It is the secret to a neat arrangement and helps to extend the life of the flower by holding moisture in the stem.

Along with the floral wire it provides stability and strength to the flower head and makes it easier to re-position or mold flowers into place.

Floral wire and parafilm can also be used together to replace the stem of a flower that may have broken off.

It stretches up to 200% of its normal length so warm it up (I usually pop it in my pocket or under my arm) and stretch away!
